The ingredients needed to make Spaghetti "Bolognese":
  1. Prepare olive oil
  2. Prepare garlic clove, finely chopped
  3. Take red onion, chopped
  4. Prepare mushrooms, chopped
  5. Get Fresh tomatoes *cherry
  6. Get Mince (red meat eg. Beef / Ostrich)
  7. Get chopped tomatoes
  8. Get tomato paste
  9. Make ready beef stock, hot
  10. Make ready red wine, dry**optional
  11. Make ready cream
  12. Prepare Oregano dried
  13. Get Salt and pepper (to taste)
  14. Prepare Spring onion chopped
  15. Prepare cheese (own preference)
  16. Get Spaghetti

  18. Get water to boil (depending on the portion size of pasta)
Instructions to make Spaghetti "Bolognese":
  1. Pour oil into pot and heat up. Pour water to boil for pasta. *TIP: Put a wooden spoon over the pot to prevent boiling over.
  2. Chop up the onions / garlic / mushrooms
  3. Fry the onion and garlic until brownish.
  4. Add minced meat to the pot and fry until thoroughly cooked.
  5. Add the tomato paste and mushrooms together and mix together.
  6. Add the tomato sauce mixture and stir everything together and leave to simmer at low heat
  7. Add the beefstock, spices and *wine to the mixture and let it simmer with the lid o for about 10 minutes on low heat.
  8. Drain the pasta from the pot and rinse off. Add back in the pot/ serving dish.
  9. Switch off the heat and add the cream. Stir together and let it rest for about two minutes or so.(*do not boil)
  10. Prepare the "garnish" and add on spaghetti as preferred. Enjoy
